Project Bust-The-Stash

I've been kinda, sorta been destashing the ...uhm... stash since last year. I've also kinda, sorta placed myself on a yarn diet... Anyhoo, as is the case with most diets, I've slipped. Since December last year I bought 36 (!) balls of Pure Gold Aran (in my defence it was on sale), 2 balls of Serena, several balls of Pure Gold DK, and some of the awesome yarn from One Of A Kind. So, I've really been a bad hooker. *hangs head in shame* With Christelle from Haak-en-Stekie's challenge on Ons Hekel (We Crochet), I've decided that my slipping days are over. NO MORE YARN, until the stash has been busted.

BUT, I have been busting as well, not just shopping. I completed the Josephs Technicolour Dream Blanket with all my left over Vinnis (and there are STILL some left over *sigh*), and the Turkish cotton became a throw for my sister for her birthday.

Then I also completed a tunic styled topic in the Bambi I have, but with 5 balls still left over, I think I'll make some scatters for the guest bedroom - currently the most neglected, sad room in the house. (Will showcase in a future post).

I also finally got around to doing the coasters that were part of a give-away in Molly Makes. They now take pride of place on our bedside tables.

In the pipeline is my Cotton On potholders, but I'm still waiting for inspiration to strike regarding the rest of the stash!

So, what are you doing about your stash?

Happy hooking!
